Lactobacillus acidophilus is a friendly bacteria in our intestine which means acid-loving, rod-shaped bacteriam that lives in milk. It is a species of gram positive bacteria in the genus Lactobacilus. It grows readily at rather low pH values ( below pH 5.0) and has an optimum growth temperature of around 37 0 C (97 0 F). Lactobacilus acidophilus have probiotic characteristics. Lactobacilus acidophilus played an important role in our digestion. Research in recent decades has confirmed that Lactobacilus acidophilus can help our digstion and cure diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), reduces lactose intolerance and increases our absorption of calcium. Indications: Constipation, Antibiotic associated diarrhea, Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS), Irritable bowel disease (IBD), Lactose intolerance, Allergy & atopic dermatitis, Enhancing immunity, Leucorrhea.
Dosage & administration: For Constipation 1 capsule 2 times daily for 3 months. Antibiotic associated diarrhea 1 capsule 2 times daily. IBS/ IBD 1 capsule 2 times daily for 2 months. Traveler’s Diarrhea 1 capsule daily 2 days before travelling or during travel. Abdominal pain 1 capsule 2 times for 1 month. Allergy & atopic dermatitis 1 capsule daily at the last three months of pregnancy. Leucorrhea 1 capsule daily for 2 months or as direction by the physician. (During administration of Antibiotic – take Lactobac capsule at least 2 hrs before or after antibiotic.)
